KIDS AND PHOTOGRAPHY

KIDS by KRISS on 13 september 2015

It is always funny to look at my little one (aged 6) holding my nikon D4s.
It's bigger than her own face but set at the right speed with automatic AF she will get a few nice photos out of it (proof down below).

She is not the most interested one in photography, but she is the careless of my kids and I only true her with the D4s on soft grounds like a beach.
She's small, my Nikon D4s is close to the ground and should it fall I know it can take it !

My little photographer is Amy, who is 10 and has grown up seeing us shooting at the right age.
She loves assisting on shootings and I can now trust her enough to have given her a Nikon D90 with a Sigma 24mm f1.8.
Sometimes I give her bigger gear to play with.

Once we were shooting in a cave and for some reason, the clip of her harness let go of the D7100 mounted with Nikkor 70-200 she was holding.
It fell flat on the floor and she was in panic.
Fortunately the camera was safe and sound and I was very comprehensive.
I only gave her 1 hour time out (I'm joking).

Now the kids are all looking forward to Costa Rica and I have no clue what camera equipment I am taking there, left alone what they will carry !
