HOW TO USE GOOGLE ALERTS Whether you are a professional or simply someone interested in something in particular, maybe you spend too much time looking up things on the internet when a robot could do it for you ! This robot is Google alerts.
This is a free feature that comes with any gmail account and that not a lot of people know about.
If you own an android phone or tablet, you do have a gmail account and it is easy to find by simply googling « google alerts ».
If you are on iOS I am sure there is an option (probably creating a gmail account) to access this feature.

The way it works is very simple and self explanatory : you enter a list of keywords you wish the robot to look up for you on a daily basis (you can set that to other variables, hourly basis for instance).
You tell it where to look (blogs, articles, other type of contents etc…) and you tell it when to send you its report.
Then you wait !

For example I have a list of alerts that look the words « nikon photography, wedding photography, art photography etc… » and send me a grouped daily report every morning.
That means that in one email, I receive a preview of all that might be of interest for me ! I then just have to click on the links to read the full articles, comment them and interact !
